Education

Refusing to call it school, because i firmly believe that learning is a lifelong journey and it should never be confined to the boundaries of school.

My Conventional Schooling Path...

For 22 years of my life, i have obediently followed the conventional schooling pathway, and have just graduated from Singapore Management University (SMU), with a business management degree. I did a double major in [Organizational Behavior & Human Resources] as well as [Strategic Management].

Never an absolute high-flyer in my academics, i have strived hard to achieve the best possible result.

My (less) Conventional Education Path...

Even during university life, learning within the "suggested course progression list" was too dull for me, and by year 2, i was sitting into varied classes just to learn something new.

Then in my 3rd year at SMU, i discovered MOOCs (i know i am kind of late to the party), particularly coursera! It felt like the greatest relief ever. I was never a school person, and i never will be. So when i found MOOCs such as Coursera, it just felt like a hungry lion being unleashed into a buffet of free learning opportunities!

Check out more details of my experience in SMU and Coursera in the drop-down menu..
